Hours per Week: - 17.5 hours during term time

Grade and Salary: - Grade 3.6

Contract Type: - Fix term in the first instance

Appointment Type: - Part time

Contract Length/End Date: - 31.08.2027, with a view to continue for the right candidate.

 

We are looking for an Administration Assistant to join our hard-working and dedicated school team. The ideal candidate will have experience of providing support to ensure the smooth running of the school. The post holders will be based in Holton le Clay Infant School, however, there may be a requirement to work at the sister site on occasion.


The post holder will:

Ensure the security of cash, checking and banking cash received, including where necessary keeping accounts.

Assist in completion of reports as required by governors and external bodies involved with the school.

Be responsible for the accuracy, completeness and validity of the payroll returns and for the payment of salaries and wages including PAYE, NIC and superannuation.

Receive incoming goods and check against orders as required.

Assist in the arrangement of routine in school activities

Assist in the compilation of such reports and records, and assessment of data as may be required by the school, governors, Education Authority or DfES.

Liaise with parents as directed regarding issues relating to individual pupils, including investigating absences.

Handle cash in line with the schools finance policy, which may include collecting money from pupils and parents.

Input data onto computerized systems e.g. SAP\SIMS/Integris (or other database software) as required.

Arrange staff cover as required

Assist with arrangements for the election of parent and teacher governors

Teaching Assistant

Position                 Teaching Assistant (1-1 Contract)

Location:               Based at Holton le Clay Infant School (and will be expected to work
                                 across the federation, if needed)

Hours                     Full time – 5 days a week.  

                                Fixed term – until the named child leaves the setting

Pay Range             G3.6



We are seeking four, full time, enthusiastic and flexible teaching assistants, to work
with individual pupils generally, on a 1-1 basis (although you may also be required to
work with groups and / or within classrooms).

The successful candidate will:


▪ Have a flexible, creative and very enthusiastic approach to pupils with high levels
of special educational needs
▪ Have high expectations of pupils.
▪ Have a committed and caring approach.
▪ Work well individually and as a dedicated team member.
▪ Carefully follow the planning and routines as directed
▪ Support the school with extracurricular activities.
