Position Teaching Assistant (1-1 Contract)
Location: Based at Holton le Clay Infant School (and will be expected to work
across the federation, if needed)
Hours Full time – 5 days a week.
Fixed term – until the named child leaves the setting
Pay Range G3.6
We are seeking four, full time, enthusiastic and flexible teaching assistants, to work
with individual pupils generally, on a 1-1 basis (although you may also be required to
work with groups and / or within classrooms).
The successful candidate will:
▪ Have a flexible, creative and very enthusiastic approach to pupils with high levels
of special educational needs
▪ Have high expectations of pupils.
▪ Have a committed and caring approach.
▪ Work well individually and as a dedicated team member.
▪ Carefully follow the planning and routines as directed
▪ Support the school with extracurricular activities.

Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA); across both schools- Full time

Are you a dedicated educational professional with a passion for supporting young learners? Do you have the skills and enthusiasm to take on a Full-Time Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) role within our federation? Both schools were judged as ‘Good’ by Ofsted in 2024 and the governors and Headteacher are looking for a HLTA to help us on our journey.
Key Responsibilities:
As a Full-Time Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) at our federation, you will:
- Work closely with teachers to plan and deliver high-quality lessons.
- Provide support and guidance to students, both one-on-one and in small groups.
- Foster an inclusive and supportive learning atmosphere.
- Contribute to students' holistic development and well-being.
Requirements:
To excel in this HLTA role, you should:
- Hold a Higher-Level Teaching Assistant qualification or have equivalent experience.
- Demonstrate exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Be patient, adaptable, and an effective team player.
- Previous experience as an HLTA or in a similar role is advantageous.
Additional Responsibilities:
In this role, you will have the opportunity to cover all classes across the school. Additionally, you will be allocated PPA (Planning, Preparation, and Assessment) time to ensure you can effectively support the school's educational objectives
