Year 6 Residential Trip to Scarborough

Each year, our year 6 pupils, are given the opportunity to join this action packed trip and to gain many happy memories that we know the children will recall for a long time. There are many visits to castles, museums, heritage sites, the Sealife Centre etc. and of course lots of walking and beach activities.

On our last trip we enjoyed a fabulous week away with great weather (for a change). Alongside our usual activities, we also managed to squeeze in a free concert by Olly Murs! We had a fabulous week and have had lots of compliments about the children from many different people that we have come into contact with, including those who just happened to be passing.

Our next trip will again be based at the Headlands Hotel - Scarborough.

Year 5 Residential Trip to PGL

We look forward each year to our trip to PGL at Caythorpe, Lincolnshire. PGL is an outdoor activity centre which offers children a variety of new experiences, including: climbing, trapeze, abseiling, problem solving, archery and much more (we do not include any water activities in our visit). The visit is great for team-building, learning new skills and making new friends. It also gives the children (and staff!) a real sense of adventure and achievement. There is an excellent canteen with a range of foods to cater for ALL dietary needs. The children sleep in secure accommodation on site and are looked after by school staff and PGL staff at all times. We have operated this trip for five years now and every year the children and staff come back having had an amazing time.

Year 4 Overnight Trip to The Deep

22nd-23rd June 2017

We extend our opportunities for residential visits by taking mainly year 4 pupils to 'The Deep' in Hull. The children find this very exciting as they sleep in full view of the sharks!! The following day the children visit another local attraction which in the past has included Normanby Hall, the Yorshire Wildlife Park and Fort Paull amongst other places.
